R Patisserie- Tres Bon

If Julia Child were to visit New Rochelle tomorrow, the first place you would expect to find her would be R. Patisserie. From the wallpaper to the simple yet sumptuous decor, R. Patisserie will  quell your immediate need to hop a plane Paris. The perfect place for an afternoon rendezvous, brothers John & Kenny Reverol and their partner Jason Leonard, obviously know something about coffee/tea houses. Having spent countless hours in cafes, they decided to create a oasis of their own.

With scones, muffins, tarts and baguettes imported straight from the Manhattan institution Balthazar; unlike Balthazar, there are no obnoxious waiters or long lines. The atmosphere is amiable and the wi-fi provides the perfect place to bring out your inner Hemingway. If you become taken with the various framed photographs decorating the walls, they are the creations of local artists and can be yours for a paltry sum. So, stroll into R. Patisserie and stay a while, I'm sure you will Louvre it.
