Let's go for a Walk! New Ro Walks! Residents of all ages and all abilities are invited to participate in this free stroll through the city's Historic District on Sunday,
September 9 at 9AM. In order to accommodate the different levels of physical activity, two walk lengths will be offered - 1.5 and 2.5 miles. Registration for the walk begins at 8AM.
Representatives from Westchester Yoga Arts, Robeks, ShopRite, Sound Shore Medical Center and Walgreens will be on site to offer nutritional information. Participants can register on line @
www.newrochelleny.com/newrowalks. The first 300 pre-registrants attending will receive free pedometers courtesy of Walgreens.
