Oil and Watercolor Amalgamation - Don Geyra

Don Geyra, a third generation Newrochellean, arms himself with his brush and palate to recreate the Masters of the past and the New Rochelle of the present. Having the enviable title of a  "working artist" he has worked on stage and films which include White Collar, Billie Elliot, Phantom and my personal favorite Sex in the City. Don holds a MFA in Painting from Indiana University.

  As member of the New Rochelle Municipal Arts Commission which worked to restore three 1937 murals in 2010 from New Rochelle Armory, Don expressed his dedication to preserving the artistic beauty that is New Rochelle- one brush stroke at a time.
